Rapid prototyping is a brand new technology in creation of three-dimensional models of the ordered product. Three-dimension graphical program forms a potential model that is later done by means of machine prototyping. The system of computerized creation of the rapid prototyping is called CAD – computer-aided design. The CAD is an inalienable constituent of the rapid prototyping process. A finished model is usually extremely accurate and well shaped. What does help to reach so good results? The thing is, that design of the future model is fulfilled by high-accuracy 3D graphic program, which was specially created in order to work out models of the best quality. The technology does not need additional tooling to shape the result of the rapid prototyping process; a special layered technology was created exactly with this purpose. A computer transmits signals to machine; more precisely, CAD lies in programmed controlling of the rapid prototyping machine work.
The process itself is not as rapid as it may seem from the name of the RP technology. Depending on the needed accuracy and requirements of a client, RP process can take from several hours to several days or even weeks of work. The main reason for this is that models under production can later be aggressively tested, depending on the sphere of model usage. In this case, two or more prototypes may be needed in the course of the process. Thus, the process can require even more time than it was predicted before the beginning of the project.

North Korea Has A Military Unit Of Hackers

Federal officials busted eight people from Russia, Moldova, and Estonia for what authorities are calling “one of the most high tech computer hacking rings in the world.” The ring was able to profitably pinch $9 million in fewer than 12 hours by hacking into payroll debit card information last November.

Hackers are everywhere but the fact that they came from Estonia and Moldova is intriguing. Russia has lots of hackers but Moldova and Estonia aren’t the first places most people think of when it comes to brilliant hackers.

The funds came up missing from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group in Atlanta in 2008. The band of hackers was able to effectively break the encryption that was protecting consumer data on payroll debit cards at the bank. After breaking in, and stealing the customer data they even elevated the account confines on the compromised financial records. Thus securing even more money and screwing up innumerable accounts.

Next, the ring of hackers had a group of “cashers” set up. There were 44 forged payroll debit cards in which $9 million was withdrawn from over 2,100 ATMS in 280 cities worldwide. The majority of which were positioned in the U.S. The investigation is still going but at any rate the authorities won indictments against the eight people. This was a monstrous undertaking and it would be interesting to know the man hours and logistics that went behind this operation.

Hacking is a huge obstacle and it’s only getting worse. Attacks are launched endlessly at private sites as well as government sites.
